Requesting ad hoc prescriptions

Please ensure you check your request before sending i.e. the chosen pharmacy is correct.

Note that all adhoc prescription requests need to be scrutinised by a GP or pharmacist. Your request will NOT be automatically approved. 

We endeavour to honour these ad hoc requests within 5 working days.

Please choose a chemist and inform the practice.   If you wish to change the Pharmacy you currently use, please telephone or come into Reception to advise.   Thank you. 

We are NO LONGER accepting phone requests for prescriptions.   Please re-order through the website or call into the Practice with your repeat request.  

Please understand that Quarryfoot's responsibility ends after we have generated and signed your prescription.   After that, further time will be required by the Pharmacist to collect your prescription and prepare your medications.   This part of the process is completely beyond our control.

Please allow 4 full working days for repeat prescriptions to be processed and 5 working days for acute requests, remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
