PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE PRACTICE TO ASK FOR A COVID VACCINATION PASSPORT OR STATUS CERTIFICATE.

They will not be able to provide any standard document.   International certification standards have not yet been agreed.

The Scottish Government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once it is safe to do so.   We are working with the other UK Nations and with the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel.

As part of this, we are developing a technical solution that could allow people to access their Covid vaccination status directly.

GREEN PROJECT

As part of our ongoing project, we have installed a public transport tracker system in the waiting room.

To actively encourage our patients to use public transport networks to attend the Practice, the tracker gives live information on both bus and rail services.

Avoid the rising fuel costs and an extremely busy car park,

Help reduce emissions, greenhouse gasses and many pollutants that are particularly damaging to the health.

We hope you will find the tracker system useful when planning your ongoing journey.      Tracker

 SOCIAL PRESCRIBING

Social prescribing, sometimes referred to as community referral, is a means of allowing GP’s, Nurses and other Primary Care professionals to refer people to a range of local, non-clinical services.

It provides non-medical options for primary care staff to support their patient’s health and wellbeing, including their mental health. Social prescribing is an approach used to support self-management. It is primarily used for connecting people to non-medical sources of support or resources within their community and is designed to support people with a wide range of social, emotional or practical needs, focusing on improving mental health and physical well-being.

Quarryfoot Practice hope to address people’s needs and aim to support our patients to take greater control of their own health by providing information required to access local health initiatives.

The next time you visit the Practice, please take a look at our “Green Notice Board” which offers a range of local activities and suggestions for all ages and abilities.
